Master Dog Trainer Program
This program is our core curriculum, encompassing a wider scope of training disciplines and theories than any other training school in the industry. It’s designed to turn students into exceptional training professionals in fields ranging from behavior modification to service and therapy.
Start in the classroom with lectures, discussions and demonstrations, before moving to hands-on training. Explore how dogs think and learn, study the science behind training methods and develop foundational knowledge on a variety of specialized training applications.

Advanced Master Dog Trainer Program
This program builds on the core curriculum of the Master Dog Trainer Program, addressing more complex areas of training with a focus on hands-on practice.
Expect a deeper understanding of how dogs think and learn, police/military protection, and business management. Students will be prepared to launch their own dog training businesses, design, sell and conduct dog training classes, manage employees and compete at the highest levels in dog sports.

While there is no prior experience necessary to gain acceptance into this program, it is designed to provide students with our most in-depth education. Enrolling in and completing the Elite program is the equivalent of completing both the Master and Advanced Master programs.

Partnering with Kennelwood Pet Resorts grants Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Training students access to an extensive company network that spans beyond the U.S. as well as numerous potential career openings.
Graduates will have opportunities to work in a variety of areas within Kennelwood Academy and Kennelwood Pet Resorts. They will also be equipped to venture into self employment, veterinary hospitals, boarding facilities, grooming spas, the Department of Defense, police units, TSA, search and rescue organizations, private security contracting, service dog organizations, specific odor detection handling, protection training, hunting dog kennels and more.
