Professional Dog Training Program
This program is the most comprehensive dog training experience. While there is no prior experience necessary to gain acceptance into this program, it is designed to provide students with the most in-depth education in the industry.

About This Program
Professional Dog Training Program
This program’s curriculum encompasses a wider scope of training disciplines and theories than any other training school in the industry. It’s designed to turn students into exceptional training professionals in a wide variety of fields from behavior modification, service and therapy to launch their own dog training businesses, design, sell and conduct dog training classes, manage employees and compete at the highest levels in dog sports.
Start in the classroom with lectures, discussions and demonstrations, before moving to hands-on training. Explore how dogs think and learn, study the science behind training methods and develop foundational knowledge on a variety of specialized training applications, such as police/military and protection.

Partnering with Kennelwood Pet Resorts grants Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Training students access to an extensive company network that spans beyond the U.S. as well as numerous potential career openings.
Graduates will have opportunities to work in a variety of areas within Kennelwood Academy and Kennelwood Pet Resorts. They will also be equipped to venture into self employment, veterinary hospitals, boarding facilities, grooming spas, the Department of Defense, police units, TSA, search and rescue organizations, private security contracting, service dog organizations, specific odor detection handling, protection training, hunting dog kennels and more.
