Raising Working Dogs Seminar

July 19, 2021 - August 12, 2021

This is a four-week onsite intensive educational seminar that allows students to experience different stages of puppy development. The seminar is designed for individuals who are solely seeking the knowledge and hands-on experience of raising a puppy and starting the foundation to help develop a working dog. Individuals will learn alongside our Master Dog Trainer students and attend many of the same lectures and workshops. Individuals will learn basic dog training theory and application, how to raise and imprint puppies for a working career, as well as learn how to introduce and start them to areas such as Obedience, Tracking, Protection and Specific Odor Detection.

Students are encouraged to bring a puppy or young adult to participate in the working portions of this seminar but may also audit this seminar for knowledge or in preparation of an upcoming puppy.
